STEVE COWAN, PRESIDENT, JONAS CONSTRUCTION SOFTWARE

Steve Cowan is President of Jonas Construction Software. Operating under the principle of expanding and developing the Jonas Enterprise and Jonas Premier products, Steve is responsible for developing an efficient company-wide strategy while leading an executive team and maintaining the corporate culture.

 
 

ORTON BAKER, VICE PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT

Since joining Jonas in 1996 Orton has held a number of positions across the support and development departments within both Construction and Club verticals. Orton currently oversees Research & Development, Product Management and Quality Assurance teams in Construction. Prior to 1996 Orton worked for 6 years at a company specializing in Automotive Dealership software in positions ranging from developer to Project Manager for Canadian operations.

 
 
 

SAM MENDELSOHN, VP, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Prior to joining Jonas in 2014 as the VP of Business Development, Sam spent 10 years of his career working for start-up and high growth software companies in various areas including marketing, sales, professional services, and channel/strategic partnerships. He is also a closet accountant holding a CPA, CMA and earning his Bachelor of International Business, with a minor in Finance and a minor in Marketing from Carleton University.

 
 

FRANCESCO CASTAGNA, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Francesco joined Jonas Construction Software after the acquisition of New Century Software. He has over twenty years of experience in the industry and with Jonas Software. Francesco has been involved in numerous implementations and has provided procedural support and development specifications. His role at Jonas includes Product Development, Client Management and Sales Support. Francesco holds an Applied Science degree from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

 
 
 

NADINE MACHADO, SENIOR IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Nadine Machado joined the Jonas Construction team in October 2008 as a customer support representative transitioning to the role of Implementation Specialist in January 2009. In this role she is responsible for both new client implementations and add on training. Nadine has over 25 years of experience implementing and training software in the construction, manufacturing and distribution industries.

 
 

IOANA CUMPANAS, CUSTOMER EXCELLENCE MANAGER

Ioana started at Jonas Construction in 2009 and has held various roles within the Support, Professional Services and Customer Excellence departments. Her previous experience at Multinational Manufacturing and Consulting Companies, like Procter & Gamble and Deloitte & Touche, equipped her with a large variety of skills that are serving her well in her current role. She has a customer centric approach and is working with the Jonas Team to continuously improve both the Software and our processes, in order to ultimately contribute to our clients’ success.

 
 
 

MIKE LASANOWSKI, PAYROLL SPECIALIST

September 2017 marked the 19 year anniversary for Mike Lasanowski at Jonas Software. In the role of payroll specialist Mike is responsible for ensuring all payroll tax changes, payroll forms and year end documentation are up to date. In addition he assists with customer support, Q&A Testing and training for both our Construction and Club clients. Mike has received his payroll designation for both Canadian (CPM) and U.S. (CPP) payroll.

 
 

HARPAL DHUGA, IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Harpal first began her career at Jonas in the Club Division in November 2009 as a Customer Support Representative. She has been a part of the Construction team since March 2012, and in her current role as an Implementation Consultant since June 2015. Prior to joining Jonas, she held a variety of roles performing accounting duties in various companies.

 
 
 

NADINE RYNKOWSKI, PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Before joining Jonas three years ago, Nadine worked in a bookkeeping and management position. She has a gift for learning, and an energetic attitude towards problem solving. Nadine is part of the New Sale team, providing product specific information to prospective clients. She always has a positive, focused and determined demeanor.

 
 

ANNE STEVENSON, PRODUCT MANAGER

Anne joined Jonas is 2008. Bringing over 15 years of Construction industry experience in both HR and Finance, she spent a number of years implementing Jonas Construction Software throughout North America and the Caribbean. Currently assuming the role of Product Manager, Anne is able to take all that she has learned from the many clients she has worked with to make Jonas even better.

 
 
 

GEORGE JACKSON, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES MANAGER

Educated in Toronto and graduating with an Accounting and Finance Honours Diploma, George started working for a General Contractor as a Project Accountant 1980. Having worked his way up the corporate ladder, as Corporate Controller, George implemented Jonas Software in 1993, replacing their existing Jonas and Erickson software. In 1995, George began his career with Jonas as a support representative and quickly graduated to the role of implementation consultant. George now operates in his current role as the Manager of Professional Services.

 
 

DAVID GOLDBERGER, B.I. TEAM LEAD

Prior to joining Jonas in April 2016, David spent 5 years working for a BI company where he extracted, transformed, loaded, designed and deployed BI data and reporting solutions for leading Fortune 500 retailers. In the BI Consultant role, David is responsible for helping clients visualize their data through reporting in an Excel environment as well as in an EBI environment.

 
 
 

COLIN CHAN, CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST

Colin began his career here at Jonas in May 2008 with the Club Division, starting off as a Customer Support Representative with ClubHouse Online, and then transitioned into a Senior Implementation Specialist within the ClubHouse Online Professional Services Team. In August 2017, Colin joined the Construction team as a Customer Success Specialist, which provides training for B2B customers.

 
 

ALI ABBAS, QA ANALYST

Ali first began his career at Jonas in the support department in May 2013 as a Technical Support Representative for eProducts. He then joined the Quality Assurance Team in October 2014 as a QA Analyst, where he currently works to ensure Jonas is operating as efficiently as possible. Ali also holds a Bachelors of Technology degree from Ryerson University.

 
 
 

BRANDON WALKER, B.I. CONSULTANT

Brandon joined the Jonas Construction team in March 2017. Prior to Jonas, Brandon completed his bachelor’s degree at the Schulich School of Business, and worked as a Business Analyst in the consumer packaged goods industry. As a BI Consultant, Brandon enables Jonas clients to better understand and run their business through providing meaningful reporting solutions.

 
 

DAWN KILLIAN, IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

After Dawn obtained her Accounting degree in 1985, she worked as a controller in several industries, her favorite being the construction industry. Through life’s course of events, she found her calling when she transitioned to the role of a Trainer within Jonas. Providing help to customers is her ultimate source of satisfaction. Along the way she also worked in Support, which provides a different set of problem solving skills. She says she learns something new every single day in this industry of technology, which makes it fun and exciting!

 
 
 

LUKE VARRASSO, IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Luke started his career with Jonas in January of 2017. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Accountant at a Public Accounting firm, where he obtained his CPA, CA designation. Luke enjoys performing detailed business process reviews and has a natural inclination for identifying process gaps. He excels in providing solutions for companies transitioning to Jonas in his current role as an Implementation Consultant.

 
 

SHANNAN CARR, IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Shannan joins Jonas with a background in accounting and training. After sixteen years as an auditor and implementation consultant, she entered the exciting world of software as a technical training specialist. Shannan brings a great deal of experience to her current role as an Implementation Consultant with Jonas.

 
 
 

MATTHEW FRENTONI, SENIOR CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has been with Jonas for over 4 years. He brings over 5 years of construction management and construction project implementation experience to the role. After working as a technical analyst at Jonas for over 2 years, Matthew moved over to professional services, with a focus on continuing to educate clients and implement the Jonas line of eProducts. In his current role, Matthew trains existing Jonas customers, implementing solutions and finding better and more efficient ways to utilize the software.

 
 

MARLA GLADSTONE, CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST

Marla currently works in Professional Services as a Customer Success Analyst. In this role she delivers training to clients who may be adding new products, helps on existing modules clients wish to review, and lends a hand in on boarding companies that are new to Jonas. Prior to this role she worked in Customer Support at Jonas for nearly 3 years.

Jerry has been with Fleet Complete since 2009, leading the Canadian sales team and nurturing key partner relationships. As the current Executive Vice President of Business Development, Jerry is responsible for establishing strategic partnership programs, locally and internationally, together with helping drive Fleet Complete’s expansion overseas. Bringing 16 years of experience in the telecommunications and software companies, most notably in Rogers, Sony and TELUS, Jerry leads a group cross-functional teams to bring various projects to life and achieve business growth year after year.

 
 

ANNA TOBIN
SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
CORPORATE SPENDING INNOVATIONS

Anna joined CSI’s Toronto office as a Senior Account Executive in January 2017. Anna enjoys helping clients grow their businesses with the help of B2B payment automation. Anna brings over 6 years of entrepreneurial and sales experience to her work at CSI, most recently as founder of a retail startup in Montreal. Anna has worked in multiple cities across Canada, as well as in Sweden and Latvia. Anna holds a Masters in International Relations and a BA in Political Science.
