Construction Management

Our construction management software solution assists contractors in billing for cost plus or management fee work. Users can also set up billing rates for each job, with mark-ups possible at the overall job level, or by cost item or cost type. The construction management module also provides billing tables to be set up with predetermined rates by trade/occupation code and equipment unit. It is a fully integrated module, as the system validates against existing employee and occupation codes as well as equipment units.

Users are also able to produce reports of internal rentals to jobs for company owned tools. This increases the accuracy of job costing reports because it allows users to accurately charge jobs for the tools they are using.
Subcontractor Control

The subcontractor control module provides the ability to manage subcontracts and monitor your relationship with them. The subcontract module is fully integrated to accounts payable, job costing and purchase order. Subcontract costs are tracked by project, subcontract number, subcontractor, job cost item, cost type and description of work. Other key features include:
- Track WC expiry, insurance, statutory declaration and lien waiver dates.
- Retainage is calculated at the time of the AP entry and can be later flagged to payables for automatic release in detail or summary.
- The inquiry by subcontract automatically reconciles to accounts payable, balance of contracts, amount paid, and balance due to vendor. The system has the ability to print payment certificates and, if required, print insurance expiration lists.

Procurement

The Jonas Procurement System provides the user with 3 possible ways to generate purchase orders: replenishment of inventory stock, the automation of requisition orders, and manually.
- With the replenishment of inventory method, the user can run the re-order report and the information that is generated from the min/max levels can be merged into the procurement orders to be reviewed and generate purchase orders.
- Requisition orders are created for jobs and work orders that are being bid on. Once the job or work order is awarded the user can take the information from the requisitions and merge them into the procurement orders. They can be reviewed, edited and made into purchase orders.
- The manual process allows the user to go into the procurement system and manually create the procurement orders that can generate the purchase orders, or they can add lines to the procurement orders that were generated from the inventory re-order report or the requisitions.

Accounts Payable
