Summary
Sterling Ridge Group runs 24 companies with 300 field technicians and approximately 90 office staff. Kim Drouillard manages software implementation and solutions across the group. When Sterling Ridge went live with Jonas in 2023, they had 200 field technicians. They now have 300. That 50 percent increase in field capacity happened without a proportional increase in back-office headcount. Kim is direct about what made that possible. Normally a company growing that fast in the field would need to grow just as fast in the office. Sterling Ridge did not. Jonas made the difference.
Before Jonas, the group ran on a combination of QuickBooks and Sage across its companies. Getting 24 entities onto one platform was, in Kim’s words, pretty astronomical in terms of work involved. The Jonas implementation team handled a significant volume of data uploads across each company, which Kim credits as critical to getting the rollout done.
Since going live, Sterling Ridge has grown approximately 48 percent year over year. More recently the group beta tested Jonas Read in one company and is now rolling it out across the rest. The verdict so far is straightforward: it is a time saver. More employees, more jobs, more companies, the same number of people in the back office.
